CNH Circle K
I love this club. There’s nothing more I can say to emphasize the amount of influence this organization has been. Everything this entire club has given me is a true blessing. Service, Leadership, Fellowship. Three tenants I never would’ve thought would be the foundation of everything I uphold.
This past weekend I attended my third Fall Training Conference. By far, one of the best experiences I have had. From hosting my workshop for new members to having snowball fight during downtime, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend a weekend. But what truly stood out for me, wasn’t the fact that I got to meet new people and see old friends. Or the loud spirit roaring through the hallways and down trails of Sonora, CA. No, it was the feeling I got that reminded me why I love to serve and why I do it.
Just like CSULB’s video states, “Real people, real stories”, I was reminded by the fact that I was surrounded by the people that I love. The same people who share the same passion to help better our home we call Earth.
I can’t stay in CKI forever, and the time is drawing near its end (One, two more years?). I am saddened that I will have to eventually leave such an inspiring organization, but that does not mean I won’t stop doing what I do. Circle K International will always have a special place in my heart, and I will always go on following the three tenants of Service, Leadership, and Fellowship.
“If by the end of the day, I have made someone’s day better or made them smile; I know that I have done my job.”
